Excellent food and nice atmosphere right on the lake. Service could be better but they have some of the best food for a great price.
Steak was over cooked,tough and cold when it arrived, potato was served with sour cream only and no butter, veggies were over cooked and barely warm.
We've eaten there many years and love the walleye dinner. Today it was not at all like it had been. Fish had no flavor and was not crunchy like usual. I had the "new" potatoes and they were not new just red. The first course of soup was barely warm which is a health code violation. Did it change hands recently. Our waiver was great and we were spotted right away which was great. Overall the experience was poor.
When I initially asked about the dish when I could no longer find it on the menu, the waitress was more than happy to ask the chef/kitchen if they'd still make me the dish since the individual ingredients in it were still used throughout a number of other dishes. They happily obliged, and I think I was the happiest customer EVER that night
I fell absolutely in love with a dish on their menu when they were first opening!! Unfortunately, they no longer had it on their menu about 5-6 years later. (I was completely understanding of the menu changing over time as I've worked in a couple restaurants myself.)
Ordered an 8oz new york strip steak med rare, baked potato with butter only, steamed veggies.
Nice restaurant. Variety on menu with moderate prices. I have severe allergy to shellfish, but restaurant very accommodating in preparing food separately. That is always a plus for me. Great wait staff who checked back often to see how things were.
Charged me$25 could have gotten same food at Texas Roadhouse for$15 cooked as ordered tender and hot. Don't think I will recommend this place to anyone.
